Badges are issued for the calendar year. When you purchase a Badge, it will remain valid through December 31st of that year. Renewal season runs from November 1st to December 31st, making it easy to stay current and enjoy uninterrupted access to the Market.

Having a Badge means you’re recognized as part of our wholesale community with early access and a smoother checkout process. Badge members enjoy special access to the San Francisco Flower Market during wholesale hours. While product prices are set directly by our vendors, so the Badge itself does not change pricing. The Badge system helps streamline your shopping experience by letting vendors know how to handle State sales tax. 

The SF Flower Market is home to over 20+ individual vendors specializing in all your floral needs.

Most vendors accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. Many also offer the convenience of digital payment options such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Venmo, though availability may vary by vendor. We recommend bringing more than one form of payment to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Product pricing at the San Francisco Flower Market reflects the natural rhythms of supply and demand. Prices may vary depending on factors such as the season, product type, color, and quantity. This means shoppers can always discover unique offerings and values that reflect the freshness and variety of the Market.

If your business resells flowers and floral products — or if your organization uses flowers for decorative purposes — you may qualify for a Badge. This includes florists, designers, interior decorators, home stagers, event and wedding planners, retailers, churches, schools, and nonprofits. We love welcoming everyone to the San Francisco Flower Market! However, our early morning hours are reserved exclusively for our wholesale and trade customers. The Market opens to the public at 8:00 am, Wednesday through Saturday. We encourage personal shoppers to join us then — you’ll still find a beautiful, fresh selection of flowers waiting for you.

Yes! Businesses outside of California are welcome to shop at the San Francisco Flower Market. You have two options:

  • Taxable Badge (Out-of-state businesses): For businesses located outside of California. You can purchase a Taxable Badge, which gives you access to the Market during wholesale hours, with sales tax applied to your purchases.

  • Resale Badge (California businesses only): For licensed California businesses that resell flowers and floral products. This Badge allows you to purchase products without paying sales tax, provided you supply a valid California resale certificate.

 

Both options make it easy for your business to enjoy the freshest flowers and floral products at wholesale hours.
